Welcome to the world of Top Gosh poodles!

My name is Tiina Koskinen, and my love for purebred dogs began over 22 years ago when after a long wait, a Wire Fox Terrier puppy “Viivi” came into our home. Viivi sparked my enthusiasm for dog shows and grooming. After her, I trained my skills for years with my Scottish terriers. My first poodle “Dino” entered our lives in 2018 and since then our sofa has been taken over by Standard Poodles.

Today, because of Dino, I am a passionate amateur groomer and dog show enthusiast. Nevertheless our dogs are definitely first and foremost beloved pets with whom we enjoy a variety of activities. Our poodles live inside our home with our small family and their well-being is my top priority in life.

Travelling has been a huge part of our lives for the past years and our poodles have travelled everywhere with us. It can sometimes be stressful, but our routines are the same wherever we go, which keeps the dogs happy and balanced.

Exercise and especially hiking outdoors is a beloved hobby of mine and active Standard Poodle is the perfect breed for that. Sufficiently varied daily exercise ensures that dogs remain in good physical condition which also affects their mood and keeps my dogs happy. I have also practiced agility with my dogs, but I haven't dared to compete with them yet.

In addition to good exercise, for me it is important for my dogs to receive high-quality nutrition. Coat care is also essential part of owning a poodle and with this sized dog it takes time and effort. Not everyone is a groomer, but if you are considering getting a poodle and you are not ready for the basic coat maintenance, you should consider another breed. However learning the basics is not hard and poodles can have any hairstyle you wish. Poodle coat is very forgiving as it grows on and on!

Over the years, I have encountered many different health challenges with my dogs and I know all too well what it´s like to live with a sick dog. It breaks your heart! '

For that reason I only use healthy and adult individuals for breeding. Preserving this magnificent breed can be achieved by taking into account not only health but also breed-specific characteristics and appearance therefore in my breeding I adhere to the standards set by the Finnish breed association.
